LR-PIB (1300, 2400)

Low Reactive Polyisobutylene (LR-PIB 1300, 2400)

DESCRIPTION

Low Reactive Polyisobutylene (LR-PIB) is a type of polyisobutylene with fewer reactive terminal groups compared to highly reactive variants. It is primarily used in applications that require stability and durability, such as adhesives, sealants, and rubber products, due to its excellent impermeability and resistance to moisture and chemicals.

APPLICATION

lt is used in:

Adhesives and Sealants: Provides flexibility and water resistance.

Packaging Films: Enhances barrier properties and durability.

Rubber and Elastomers: Improves elasticity and weather resistance.

Chewing Gum Base: Contributes to texture and chewiness.
