DESCRIPTION

SEPS YH4030 is a hydrogenated styrene-isoprene block copolymer in the form of a white porous granule or powder. It is mainly used in lubricating oil viscosity improvers, fiber filling gel, elastomer products, and plastics modification. On the aspect of lubricating oil viscosity improvement, it has features of thickening, low-temperature, and viscosity-temperature performance, shear stability, anti-oxidation stability, etc, suitable for blending of long-span lubricating oil, low dissolving temperature, and fast dissolving rate when blending the lubricating oil.

APPLICATION

In the application of improver for lubricating oil viscosity index, YH-4030 can improve the viscosity-temperature performance of lubricating oil, increase its viscosity index, and make it have strong thickening ability, good low-temperature performance, and good shear stability. It can meet the requirements of multi-grade internal combustion engine oil, particularly the long-span multi-grade internal combustion engine oil, and is a high-grade improver for lubricating oil viscosity index. It is sold in the form of powder or fluffy granules, with low dissolving temperature and fast dissolving rate when blending the lubricating oil.

The modified lubricating oil process is to mix YH-4030 or ethylene propylene rubber with 150SN base oil at 120ºC for 3h. The test results may have deviations for different base oils

STORAGE

1. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid leaving it at high temperature for too long or in a place exposed to direct sunlight.
2. The storage place is away from fire sources and flammable materials.
3. Avoid accumulating substances in places above room temperature to reduce aging, heat generation and spontaneous combustion of substances.
4. If the substance has been stored for more than one year or under the above abnormal conditions, ask the company’s professionals for advice before use.
