DESCRIPTION
Polyisobutylene Succinic Anhydride (PIBSA) is a chemical compound made by reacting polyisobutylene (PIB) with maleic anhydride. It’s commonly used as an intermediate in the production of additives for lubricants and fuels, such as dispersants and detergents, due to its excellent solubility and ability to improve the performance of oils and fuels.
APPLICATION
lt is used in:
Lubricant Additives: Enhances dispersion of particles and prevents sludge formation.
Fuel Additives: Improves engine cleanliness and efficiency.
Adhesives: Acts as a tackifier and improves adhesion properties.
Sealants: Provides water resistance and durability.

STORAGE
This product shall be stored, loaded & unloaded, and blended according to SH/T0164. The high temperature shall not exceec75°C, and not exceed 45°C for long-term storage. It is nonflammable, non-explosive, and in-corrosive, and it is the same as the common petroleum products in the aspects of security, environmental protection and use, etc, Special protection is not needed.
